Horses Sold

SOLD-Iron Dove (barn name Selah) - a beautiful flea bit grey registered TB mare. 15 years old, very sweet and easy to handle, old injury on right hock, does show some stiftness in movement but doesn't seem to be in pain. I did a hunter pace with her last summer and boy did she have a beautiful round jump and didn't refuse anything. This summer she showed more stiffness so probably can't be jumped anymore but could still be ridden lightly. Would make excellent broodmare, she is 16 hands, wonderful conformation, beautiful head & eye, lovely disposition and has excellent pedegree with same lineage as the great triple crown winner Scretariat. $1,500 OBO
SOLD-Red- aged quarter horse gelding. 14.1 hands. Perfect pet for the little ones to poke around on. Gentle and sweet as any horse you'll know. I've ponied him on the trail and he is absolutely bomb proof. He's got lots of bumps on his legs but gets around great with lite riders. Needs some extra feed in the winter to keep his weight up but other than that he is in perfect health. This old guy needs to be someone's pasture ornament with kids around to feed him carrots, ride him around the pasture, and give him lots of love. To the right home he is only $250 or less.

SOLD-Mark. Beautiful Belgian draft colt ready for his new home. Born Jan 2005, blonde (palamino), should mature to 18 hands. This is NOT a PMU foal. Both Stallion and Dam on site to view. Sire is an amazing 18+ hands and as sweet and docile as can be. You can drive this stallion with a mare in season and he is a perfect gentleman. Dam is 17+ hands, very good natured, exceptionally easy to train. This colt is showing all of the wonderful traits of his parentage. Leads, ties, good with grooming. click here for more photos of Mark

$1000 OBO

Wonderful ground manners, very easy to handle, trailers, clips, ties, feet, no vices. Green broke to ride - tons of energy & stamina. Been on trail couple times, good with other horses. Been to couple cattle gatherings and brandings. She has had 2 babies (more pics of robin)

SOLD- Pumpernickel Penny is a registered Shire sporthorse (TB/Shire cross out of my mare Sugar and the legendary Shire Stallion Earnshaw's Ideal). She's black/bay with 4 white socks and a blaze and at 4years old stands at 17 hands. She's very warmblood type, good substance but not too drafty.

Congratulations to the Schmitz family. Penny has gone to a wonderful home.

Here is Penny's 2004 Xmas Picture - looking very happy with her new family!

SOLD - McGrath's Mikki Cody is a registered Percheron yearling born 5/6/03. Black with white blaze this guy is a real sweetie and should make a wonderful driving and riding horse. Over 15 hands as a yearling he should mature around 17H.

SOLD - Lorelei
is a 4 years old, 15.2 hand registered Arab/Standardbred mare. She has had 90 days professional training on ground work. She ties, leads, picks up her feet, clips, baths, lunges, wears a saddle, has worn a bit several times, has been ground driven, etc and is ready to start her under saddle training. Lorelei is an extremely sweet natured horse and very people loving. She is very sensitive and will require continued training for undersaddle by an experienced rider or trainer. Once trained she will make an excellent mount with wonderful floating gaits that would suit her to dressage.

SOLD-Tiger
- 16yo Appaloosas Gelding. He's a wonderful old boy and is very responsive to leg, seat, and hand aids plus has a wonderfully smooth enjoyable canter. And it certainly doesn't hurt that he's gorgeous! He is great on trails and would be perfect for the adult rider who likes to take long meandering trail rides - he is equally comfortable with other horses or by himself.

SOLD - Jake and Jeff -
pair of pure white Percheron geldings. We purchased these guys April 2001 for my husband to drive. They came off a carriage service where they did weddings and other events for 10 years. They don't ride but are a pro at driving.
