Riding
Knight - a 3 year Percheron gelding. Knight is about 18 hands
tall and probably 1800lbs. We had purchased him a few months
back in an auction for my husband to drive - but I quickly
decided he needed to ride and jump.

This
was taken in Ocala, FL during a jumping lesson. I'm riding
a very nicely trained warmblood. Whenever I'm away from home
I always try to take in at least one lesson from a local trainer.

my warmblood mare Penny - June 2004.

This
is Knight at his first eventing show. He has a wonderful rythmic
gait and got very good marks in the dressage phase. He also
did well on the cross country course (this was beginning level
of under 2ft) but knocked down a few in the stadium jumping
course. I believe we finished 5th out of about 12 entries in
the division - not bad for his first show. |

This
is taken during a 5 day eventing clinic I took at the Equestrian
Centre in Wales England. I'm riding "Champ" the
cutest welsh cob - he was a blast to ride but got very strong
as you went along the course. I found the English to be very
heavy on the horses mouth and they were always yelling at
me to take up more contact - boy were my arms sore by the
end of the week. This photo was taken as we jumped down a
bank to a bounce into water - what fun! Summer 1999
